On what basis the NMIMS Mumbai scholarships are provided to students?

No, NMIMS Mumbai generally does not accept admissions without entrance exams. Students get shortlisted based on either the exams conducted by NMIMS itself or any other national-level exams. Some of the accepted exams include:

• NMAT by GMAC for MBA
• NMIMS-CET and NPAT for UG courses

NMIMS Mumbai conducts its own Commom Entrance Test - CET for admission to various courses. Also known as NMIMS-CET, it is accepted for courses, such as BTech, BPharma, Integrated BTech + MBA and BPharma + MPharma. The university does not accept any other CET scores including MHTCET. 

Students have to submit some documents during NMIMS Mumbai admissions/ applications. A list of general documents needed is as below

• Class 10 marksheet & certificate
• Class 12 marksheet & certificate
• Graduation marksheet & certificate
• Aadhaar Card
• Passport-size photograph
• Entrance exam score card
• Allotment letter - if applicable
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Income certificate (if applicable)

To be eligible for BTech admission at NMIMS Mumbai, students need to complete Class 12 with PCM subjects + at least 45% aggregate. The final selection is made based on NMIMS CET/ ACT/ SAT India scores. Eligible students can apply online.

NMIMS Mumbai provides BTech course in various specilisations like CSE, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Mechanical, Civil, and others. After puruing BTech students have the option to work as Software developer, Data Engineer, IT Consultant, Cybersecurity Expert, and others.
