Hi, You can start preparing yourself for the Most prestigious Job of an IAS right away. However, it would be good to join an institute in 6 to 8 months befor the exams. General candidates get 4 attempts till they attain 30 yrs of Age. You need to have a bachelor's degree in any stream. You can also

Minimum qualification for IAS/IPS is graduation. you have to be graduate. but u can start preparing for that. you should start preparation from today because it has a big syllabus.

You can start your preparations, but you will be able to appear for Civil Services examination after your graduation.
