One consultant told me that my study visa application for Canada would not be acceptable if I am not getting a full time course. Is it true?

Study permits are issued for both full time and part time courses. You can be granted a study visa for a part time course if you have been accepted by a designated learning institute, also you cannot perform any part time work.
