One of my friends did Polytechnic in EEE after 10th & has now done BCA (Bachelors in computer applications), is he eligible for UPSC exam?

At present, his qualification is {SSC + 3-years Polytechnic + 3-years BCA B.Sc}. Will he be able to appear for UPSC exam? Will he be treated as a graduate as a minimum graduate degree is required for UPSC? Please answer asap.

Yes, you are eligible, if he has done BCA from a recognized college/University by AIU. Further, BCA is an undergraduate degree, hence you are eligible if meeting the other criteria.

Thanks sir and without intermmidate will it effect anything if he applies for government jobs like BANKS, PO's and Revenue jobs?
