Only cipla visit the college for pharmacy for 160 students?

Dear Student, LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Aspiring Minds have ranked LPU as having Most Employable Students in consecutively twice in a row for previous academics sessions. ASSOCHAM (Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) rated LPU as Best Private University with regards to placements. Zee News Survey rated us as 11th Best in India in Placements. Several Big Brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic session 2015-2016 for campus placements, students training/workshops, faculty development, etc. and the process is still going on at full pace. Around 150+ companies visit every year for campus-placement of students from LPU.

A lot of pharmacy and biotech companies come on campus for placement drives. LPU Pharmacy School Comes under the best 30 pharmacy colleges in the India. If students want to do really well in the world of pharmacy, LPU is one of the best places to study it. Companies like Glaxo, Ranbaxy, Eric Life Sciences, etc. do in campus placements in LPU.

There are various medical and other healthcare companies visiting, there are very less which recruit from the pharmacy stream but there are many companies which allow the pharmacy students to grab the chance of job giving them an opportunity to sit with the students who are from different streams.

Chandigarh University provides an opportunity to Diploma candidates in Pharmacy to undertake advanced studies in Clinical Pharmacotherapy and Practice areas, and attends to community Pharmacy, Practice and clinical requirements as a graduate Pharmacy professional. The dedicated placement cell regularly conducts grooming sessions of the students. The drive is for the improvement of the students for their better results. Placements records are top good even you can search on goggle how much they are aware of their goals. So for B. Pharm. (Practice), I don't think so there is a need to worry about job opportunities, as management putt all efforts for the betterment of their students. Placement of Chandigarh University is good. Many companies like; Cipla Sun Cadillac Ankur drugs etc visited in CU campus for; manufacturing, quality assurance, research and development and marketing. But as B. Pharmacy (Practice) is a new course in this premise, but as per the previous record it is damn sure that CU will put all efforts to make their students capable to grab best placements in best companies, hospitals or regulatory affairs.

Hello, If you are asking this with respect to LPU, then I must say LPU there is long list of companies that visit LPU for placements. As per NIRF-MHRD Government of India, LPU pharmacy school comes under best 30 pharmacy colleges in the country due to best placements, infrastructure, research oriented faculty and yes industry oriented curriculum which is the main mantra of LPU placements. Overall, for a student having interest in B.Pharma, LPU is the best university to begin career. Placements at LPU are always applauded. LPU provides good placements. The first thing that I should mention is that the training and placement cell of LPU is very efficient. It not only brings in best-in-industry companies for placements, but also provides students with training to make them fit for the written and interview/GD rounds conducted by these companies for placement. LPU has tie-ups with renowned companies from different industries. If we talk specifically of B.Pharm, the placement scenario of B.Pharm is getting better year by year. About 60-70 percent students get placed every year with decent packages. A lot of companies come to LPU for placement, many of which are open to students of all streams. Companies like SmurAgro, Dr. Lal Path Labs, Capgemini, Google, etc. come to the campus for recruitment of students. Most importantly, LPU makes students capable of getting placed in the best companies of different sectors. It helps them in developing their communication skills, aptitude skills, and the overall personality. Moreover, LPU provides its students with exposure which makes them ready to work in diverse industries. Placements at LPU start from 3 LPA and has been established at 1 core per annum so far. More than 450 companies (both national and international) visit the LPU campus every year.
