Other than NLUs, which colleges are good in terms of campus placement?

. Further, recruitment companies and reputed firms coming to NLUs is an added bonus as it helps students to showcase their achievements and, in turn, secure a job. That being said, even private colleges in the recent years have upped their game in terms of placements. Colleges like Jindal, Amity, etc. Even guarantee a certain percentage of college placements. Be that as it may, there is no guarantee that every individual will safely secure a job through campus placement. While looking at job prospects, students should keep in mind that it is not a one day procedure but a gradual process of all their years in law school which goes a long way in deciding the job prospects. Hence, instead of relying solely on campus placements, it is advisable to build you CV with every passing year at law school. A good CV should have good grades, internships where the students has done some recognizable work, participation in co-curricular activities like seminars, debates, paper presentations and moot court competitions. It would be an added advantage if the student is involved in activities not only limited to campus but also outside it. All of this can make up for a weak placement cell of a college as, after all, the people hiring look at the individual achievements of each candidate and not just the college that they are graduating from.

The reason why NLUs are known for their placement is because of their rigorous curriculum, the opportunities given to students in terms of moots and debates and other co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that help in their all-rounded development. In other words, it is not the college per se but the exploitation of opportunities given by the college to the student that decide their future. Ok, without further ado, let me tell you that campus placement in most colleges is a myth. Jobs are something that no one can guarantee you, unless one has a brilliant CV which boasts of top grades, debates and moots won and an excellent communication skills topped by one's presentation of oneself. The thing with National Law Universities is that reputed firms do come to recruit students but there is no guarantee that all those who apply for the job will get it. Only the beat gets through and selection is merit wise. On the other hand, not all private law colleges can guarantee you even that with an exception of few of course. Colleges like: 1. Symbiosis Law School 2. Government Law College, Mumbai 3. Amity University 4. Christ Law School 5. ILS, Pune 6. O. P. Jindal These colleges might give the brand or tag of a reputed university that one needs to get a job. There are of course other colleges, but these might be the go to colleges if one is worried about recruitment in future.

Dear, It is a known fact that none university in India can compare themselves with 'National Law University'. But still, if you didn't able to get admission in NLUs then you may consider various other options to make your career in Law. Universities/college like University of Delhi, Asian Law College (Noida), Amity Law College (Noida) etc to get the higher campus placement. However it must be noted that Delhi University doesn't provide the on-campus placement for Law but ALCs provides. Depending upon your callibier you can fetch a very good placement package of one of the reputed companies. Asian Law College provides a really great faculty with excellent law internships for law graduates. So you just have to first contemplate by yourself that which suits you the most and then decide about the carrer. But nevertheless knowing about the NLCs and DU, I'd recommend you tk take admission in Asian Law College in Noida. Best of Luck.
