You should be opting for IT as your specialisation in your 11th & 12th and also start preparing for competitive exams to look admissions for BCA / MCA

yes u can defiantly join the s/w eng. courses as per interest in IT , but in the S/W many of the tech. are there i suggest u that pls confirm and search which is better for you in future and then join that courses only.
