    Very Informative. This is true that we all need to discuss the need of Parallel Colleges, their roles and contributions. Parallel Colleges exists in every state in India. In Kerala, Parallel Colleges are more structured and organized under banner 'Kerala Parallel Colleges Association'. In other states parallel colleges exists in form of unrecognized private colleges, study centres or sub-centres, information centres, guidance centres, training or college program tution centres etc. but are not organized or don't have any association or group as in Kerala.     A parallel college does one or more of following educational activity –
    1. Promotion of education / education program or courses
    2. Counseling of courses – Providing Information about course, program, syllabus, curriculum, duration, fees, study methods, exam systems, result systems, jobs, career, placement
    3. Helping student in Admission Form Availability, Form Filling, Enrollment or Registration or Admission, Fees Collection
    4. Providing Books, Study Notes, Study Material on CD / DVD, On-Line Educations Materials, On-Line Training, …
    5. Helping students in getting I-Cards, Admit Cards or Exam Hall Tic

    Colleges / Institutes / Educational Organizations / Educational Institutions / Classes / Study Centres / Sub-study Centres / Counseling and Guidance Centres / Information Centres / Trusts / Vocational Training Centres / Technical Training Centres / Skill Enhancement Centres / Others educational bodies with similar objectives and functions for preparation or guidance of university programs leading to award of Certificate / Diploma / Degree by any recognized University shall be referred here now onwards as 'Educational Institution'.
