Parking facility for students is available at LPU?

Hi, There is ample space within the University for parking. Parking facility may be availed by Day Scholars as well as resident/ students. (b) Students interested in availing this facility need to get their vehicle (s) (2 wheeler and/ or 4 wheeler) registered by filling a prescribed form, after paying the registration fee before they bring their vehicles to the University Campus. The details of Registration Charges for Parking and its administration are available on the website. The parking place (unpaved parking) will be at some distance from the allotted residential accommodation and/ or academic block. (f) The University bears no responsibility for the loss/ damage/ theft of the vehicle, accessories and any material in the vehicle. (g) At all time, the speed limit, as specified by the University, needs to be followed in letter and spirit. (h) In case of 2 wheelers, the driver, as well as the pillion rider, needs to wear the helmet. (I) Tripling and other acts forbidden under Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and/ or other relevant laws and regulations in force are not allowed. (j) All vehicles brought inside the University Campus should have Insurance paper, RC, Driving Licence, Pollution Certificate and other relevant documents as required / prescribed under Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and other relevant laws and regulations in force.

Yes, the Parking facility for students is available at LPU. Furthermore, Hostels in LPU are more than secure with few restrictions on students which could help them become disciplined. Like day scholars are not allowed in hostels. And even hostels are not allowed to go in other hostels this is weird but for security purposes it is good. And for clarity, I have made this restriction in point have a look at below points. 1) 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances like alcohol, drugs etc. Strict action used to be taken against the defaulters in case non-adherence of to such rules. 2) Students are not allowed to enter any other Hostel without permission of the authority. LPU has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles, thereby ensuring that every movement is monitored. 3) Boys are allowed to go outside the campus as per requirement but they need to return back & report to Hostel by 8 PM. 4) Special Permission will be extended to Boys student for a night out with the written permission of the Warden & Parents. 5) Any publicly offensive acts are clearly not allowed in the university and strict actions are taken against such act. Though there are many restrictions you can observe from the above-mentioned points for the hostellers but believe me at the end of the day you will find it necessary for all your security & safety. These restrictions would definitely make you learn how to lead your life in a controlled environment. Campus Security Surveillance : LPU campus is equipped with 6500+ CCTV surveillance a 24X7.
