Payment of hostel fee window is disabled on SASTRA's applicant online portal. Would it be a problem if I go directly to the campus?

Yes, of course.
While joining hostel in 1st year at SASTRA, they usually take a 2000 extra under the name of caution deposit.
This amount is just for a safety reason that we would not misuse or damage hostel property.
After our 4th year gets over and as the right of you they transfer that 2000 to our bank accounts directly.
Nothing to worry, have a pleasant stay and the 4 Wonderful years.
