People say that engineering in India has become just a trend & is of no use. Is it really true or not?

Hello Mohsin, It is true, but the reason above is not true. People say that it is a trend but it’s not. It is a hope for some students to get a good salary job as they need money due to their financial conditions. Many people opt for engineering as the top engineering graduates are really highly paid. They say engineering is not of no use because of lower availability of jobs. But the best and talented engineers are never without job and it also depends on the colleges they get graduated as the campus placements matter a lot. That’s why students who want engineering write many entrance exams to get a top college like IIT, BITS, Pilani etc. If you can be competitive, updated, skilled and talented then you can be a good engineer and you will not be without a job. From this, I am not saying arts and science or management studies are not lower than engineering. Each field has its own value. I just wanted to say the reasons for those comments.
