For MCA at LPU, You should be qualified in 12th exams. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years or with (Mathematics or Statistics or Business Maths or Business Statistics or QT as one of the subject at Graduation or 10+2 level) or equivalent. So it doesn't really matter, however the admissions of 2020 intake, LPU is considering the marks of two previous qualifications for scholarship.

It depends from University to University but as per my experience, LPU is one of the best universities to pursue MCA. Scholarships are provided on the basis of graduation scores. The campus environment is good. Placements: Placements of this university are awesome, and many companies like Amazon, CTS, TCS, Flipkart, and Solve, etc. , visit the campus for placements. Almost 90% of students get placed during the course, while the placements also depend on the students' performance. LPU offers all of the above-mentioned courses with certain eligibility and needs the LPU NEST entrance test to qualify for availing scholarships and further A

Dear Suraj Mishra, Yes, the percentage of the 12th class matters for admission of MCA at LPU only for the scholarship purpose not for eligibility. For eligibility, LPU considers graduation percentage. My friend also completed an MCA degree from LPU. LPU is Punjab Best Computer Application College. LPU School of Computer Application is ranked among the top four Computer Applications Institutes of North India by NASSCOM. A gap of 1 to 2 years after 12th can be considered normal. Although the students should be able to address it via the valid documents. The reasons like health, finance, skill development or family are accepted.

Yes, it should not be hard for you to get admission to the University of Western Australia as an Indian student with 50% in class 12th. However, please note that it does not put you in the top applicants either. The general admission percentage requirement for international students is 50 to 65%.

Look at the other admission requirements -

  • English proficiency tests with IELTS (bands 6.5) or TOEFL iBT (82+)
  • High school Diploma from a recognised board like CBSE or ICSE etc.
  • Some course-specific subjects for Engineering programs

  • Average universities often accept students with 60-75%.
