PGDBA/MBA Distance Made for Whom?

Many young guys are not clear whether go for MBA Distance or Regular, they don't know for whom distance education is made?

    Hmm, I too agree to what Pooja and Arun said. Experience is one essential ingredient of a strong candidate for any job. Rightly said, it matters a lot.

    Absolutely @pooja kohli i agree with you. I like to add few points In India many of the students force to skip their regular education because of family pressure. And emergence of MNCs and others which gives better salary for average educated is also a reason for skipping education, corporate firms do know the quality of distance education and students prefer to work and get experienced and a distance degree always boost their carrier.“A person with 6yrs experience and a distance MBA from a reputed institute and a fresh MBA (regular) graduate from a good institute.” As an HR I feel it’s much safe to recruit first person.I am not enter... view more

    As said distance MBA is for working persons, and some times regular students goes for distance MBA and even other PG degrees as it saves time and can hav multiple degrees.

    Distance Education is generally for working professionals who have good amount of work experience say around 6-8 years and are looking only for a designation change in his/her own organization. so keep this fact in mind before choosing your MBA

    distance education is for employees or for the people who dont want to go to college, for them its a good idea to persue their education thrugh distance with out quit.

    distance education is a compromise mba, typically useful for someone who needs to carry on with a job and has the required experience to grasp the topics quicker than a fresher. surely not for freshers

    Hi Gagziu,don't worry many young candidates deals with the same problem.First of all it totally depends on your interests how much you are serious towards your studies,what's your score in graduation.Distance education is made for the one who are working professional mostly they opt,the one who doesn't like attending regular college,who like studying on their own .In term of educational goal, both online learning and traditional MBA programs general share the same goal of preparing the students for many fields, functions, and industries to help them progress toward a specific career goal.
