As of now SSIM PGDM is not equivalent to MBA as the institution has not applied for AIU approval. SSIM is having AICTE approval as well NAAC Rating as well. IF it come to Govt jobs as well as PHD, with an AICTE approved post graduate degree you should be eligible for a PhD program. The different universities prescribe different eligibility criteria for admission into the PhD program. -
pgdm now is internationally recognized and accepted for all jobs and by university. it is equivalent and infact better industry oriented than Mba.
