More than the degree, it's the skills you've acquired and the college brand which matters more during the job placements. Both PGDM and MBA are given similar importance in India. -

6 years agoRather than going for degrees the main thing that matters when you sit for placements is your skill set if you do MBA then it's definitely good on your CV but it if it is done from a well known Institute like FMS IIM etc. Then it counts and you'll end up having good placements but PGDM is also a good option and that too again if we do it from good Institute then it adds value also try doing online courses on different subjects that he can increase your chances and of getting selected all the best.
