Phd. after M.Sc. IT done in Distance Education Mode from SMU, Gangtok
I did B.A. in 2005 and then started working. I did M.Sc. IT with 82% ('A' Grade) in 2010 from Sikkim Manipal University. It is a Distance Mode Program of 2 years. Where can I pursue Phd. in IT or Computer Science in Delhi or Mumbai? Would a Phd be of more value than doing an MBA or EMBA in IT?

Good universities would not offer Ph.D. based on distance learning M.Sc. and B.A. You may try some universities of Rajasthan like Bharatiya Vidyapeeth who are not bothered for such details. Ph.D. is a requirement for academic or research career otherwise for industry requirement, you may pursue MBA.

As you have done MSc IT through Distance mode, you have to register your PhD in distance mode only.
