Hi, For admission to the above programs in a related subject in the faculty, applicants fulfilling the following criteria shall be treated as eligible: 1. PhD- Persons having passed Post Graduate Degree (Masters Degree) Examination with at least 50% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA). 2. U.G.C NET- Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master's Degree OR equivalent examination. 3. C.S.I.R NET- Masters or equivalent degree under a particular subject with minimum 55% marks for General & OBC candidates; 50% for SC/ST candidates. The basic thing you need to be aware of is the significance of the exam. You require a focused plan and for the same create a time table. You can separate each subject and study accordingly. PhD Information

I've passed B.A.with hons in English from Calcutta University in 2010 with 43%marks.Now I am pursuing M.A. from IGNOU.I shall passout in 2014.Will it be possible for me to score good marks in M.A. and then opt for PhD in the same after passing NET exam? What do you think? Will it be possible for me?
