It provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 LPA. As per the last year record of LPU, the average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 LPA. LPU prepares student for placement by giving lot of extra inputs like personality development class, so

    Hi Gaurav
Neither go for rumors nor for glitzy advertisements of placements by various universities. In my last 16 years in education, I have worked with top universities in the country, I can vouch for the fact that LPU has a stellar placement track record which is built on various factors like:
    # Continuously upgrading the curriculum
    # Technology trainings like SAP, Github etc. # Center for professional enhancement
    # Centers of excellence set up by industry
    # Student and faculty diversity
    # Highly qualified faculty with over 600 PhDs
    # Infrastructure and equipment
    # Industry interface
    # Innovation, design thinking and Business incubation lab

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

After you log in to the counselling portal after the results go out, you need to honestly fill your choices of course/specialization. LPU will then look for which rank you are in the merit list, check availabilities, and allocate seats accordingly based on your previously chosen course/specialization seats and rank.
