Please help me. I don't know what to do next. I have completed Diploma in electrical. Should I opt for a job or go for engineering?

After successful completion of Diploma in Engineering course, students can either continue further Engineering studies by lateral entry admission in second year of B.Tech or take up entry level jbs in engineering organisation. Diploma holders gets employment as technicians, technologists, supervisors, superintendents, foremen, machinist, workshop technicians, draughtsman, .etc. Diploma in Engineering can do AMIE Section A and B to become graduate engineer for career growth. Instead of doing job, you should go for engineering. You can for B.Tech (3 years) through lateral entry. Diploma holders in any stream are eligible to take admission, in the second year of the course. They must have done their Diploma after class 10th (3 year)with minimum 50% marks or after class 12th (2 year) and they need to qualify LEET. Various engineering colleges in India also offer direct admission to Diploma holders in second year of the course and in reputed institutes, after completing Diploma student gets entry in second year of B.Tech through LEET.
