Please help me out. I am confused. I want to become an astrophysicist. And so I took admission into Integrated M.Sc. (Phys hons.) Course in
a private institute. But I now hear many people saying that Integrated M.Sc. is not much valued in many prestigious institutes for higher studies and that too from a private institute. And it restricts job opportunities as well.. Is it true? What should I do now? Please please please help me out.

Hi
If I may ask who are these ppl? Firstly, getting into govt colleges with reservations is very difficult. If you are good at subject, noone can stop you from making a mark in the field. Utilize all possible facilities of research in your university. Secondly, if you are in doubts about the job, start writing a good research proposal and apply to universities abroad. If they like it, you may complete your master's /PhD with them. Many universities in USA, Canada and Germany have fully funded PhDs. -
