The UGC NET exam is a national level exam held to determine eligibility for lectureship, JRF fellowship, and Ph.D. The NTA has decided to conduct the NET exam twice a year in online mode. The upcoming UGC NET is scheduled as follows:
UGC NET Application Procedure: 1 to 30 September 2018
UGC NET Admit Card: 19 November 2018
UGC NET Exam Date: 18 to 22 December 2018
UGC NET Result: 10 January 2019
The admit card for UGC NET December exam has been already released. -
National Eligibility Test is conducted to select the candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and for awarding Junior Research Fellowship. Earlier the UGC NET Exam was conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) but from Dec 2018 it will be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). UGC NET Exam Date: 8th July 2018 (Sunday).
Sources say that from now onwards (2018), there will be 2 papers conducted in UGC-NET. Earlier, there were 3 papers.

The UGC NET answer key challenge fee per question is INR 200. It is non refundable whether the challenge is accepted or rejected. It can be paid online via debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts.
It is released by the National Testing Agency NTA a few days after the exam is conducted. The answer key helps candidates in calculating their probable scores and checking the accuracy of their responsesThe details provided on the UGC NET answer key are mentioned below:
