Hi, The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is one of India's premier institutes for training, teaching and research in mass communication. It was set up by the Government of India in 1965 on the recommendation of a team of internationally known mass communication specialists from UNESCO and the Ford Foundation. The Institute conducts two major training programmes, four one year post graduate diploma courses and two four month diploma courses in Developement Journalism.
