    Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. XAT stands for Xavier Aptitude Test. XAT is a national-level management entrance exam conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur to provide admission to MBA/ PGDM courses. XLRI has been conducting XAT exam for 70+ years on behalf of XAMI. XAT exam is one of the most sought-after by MBA aspirants as XAT score is accepted in more than 700 colleges across the country including XLRI, 95 XAT Associates, and the 12 XAMI member institutes. XAT 2023 exam is expected to be held on the first Sunday of January 2023, I. e. January 1, 2023. XAT exam is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur every year for admission to MBA/ PGDM courses.

Students who want to pursue management studies XAT 2023 participating institutes such as XLRI, XIMB and more must appear for the Xavier Aptitude Test ( XAT ). XAT exam 2023 will be held in first week of January. XLRI, Jamshedpur dates will announced at the end of the week of July. In XAT 2022 essay writing was reintroduced. However, the score of Essay writing was not taken into consideration. Shortlisting was done through PI round. Colleges accepting XAT exams are XLRI, Jamshedpur, XUB, IMT, Ghaziabad, IMI, New Delhi, G

XLRI Delhi accepts XAT scores for admission to PGDM programme. Aspirants seeking admission in PGDM Business Management are offered seat only via their XAT scores. For PGDM IEV, candidates can also take admission without XAT based on their scores in CAT, MAT, GMAT, etc. Candidates have to register on the offical website of XAT to appear for the test. XAT is conducted by XLRI in online mode every year.

No, you cannot use the score of XAT 2025 for admission to 2026 batch at XLRI as the validity of exam score is one year only. Thus, you will have to appear for XAT 2026 exam if you plan to pursue MBA from XLRI in 2026. The registration process for XAT 2026 is open and the last date to apply is December 5, 2025.

The total course fee of full time MBA at XLRI is INR 28 Lacs according to Shiksha. The fee is to be paid semester wise. The first installment is to be paid at the time of admission. The XLRI course fee includes tuition fees, hostel and mess charges, caution money, library chargers and other miscellaneous services.
