As per my knowledge, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is one of the best engineering colleges in India. Amazing faculty, infrastructure, campus life, comfortable accommodation, food, and placement facilities make TIET worth it. For Computer Science Engineering, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology is one of the bests in India. It has been ranked 29th under NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) by the Government of India rankings. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is good. You get a lot of exposure here. Computer Science students are increasing. In 2017, there were 600 seats only for COE and it is expected that in 2018, Computer seats will be increasing upto 1000. A complete separate computer department is under construction here and it may start from 2028. Placement is good of COE. But it's decreasing. Average package has reduced.
