no package can be determined like this. it depends upon the school from where u have got ur degree, ur marks, ur confidence during interview and post qualification experience. -
@Pankaj, The package for an MBA depends on a lot of factors like college or university which offers the course, individual ability, their work experience, their education qualification. For example if you do your MBA from the IIM's the average pay is around 10-12 lakhs and if you do it from some not so good B-school then you may not even get a placement. So your focus should be to get into a good college and do your best.

Your priority should be on the reputation of the organization and the job profile. Having done my MBA from one of the best B Schools in India and being a trainer for CAT for over 20 years, I find lot of youngsters getting lured by salaries. The write ups in magazines mentioning packages given to students, adds fuel to the fire. Put yourself in the shoes of the organization and find out, as to why should you offer a plum package to a fresher, who has to be trained, irrespective of the B School he comes from. You need to take a pragmatic decision. -
On a general level, the package after MBA could be as low as 2 lpa and can be as high as 60lpa in India.
