    Hi Kanika
    Doing CA along with b.com is one of the finest options for the a commerce student. Along with that if you think you can do anything than you can go for CS also. That is also a good option. If you do CA or CS along with b.com than it will also help you to get good marks in B.com cz the syllabus of b.com & CA is approx same but the coverage of is very deep in CA as compare to B.com.
    THe Procedure to do CA is.Step

    Kanika - Doing CA with b.com is the right strategy. I myself have done it. Trust me once you are doing CA.b.com is not much for you.you can easily pass b.com if you are working hard for CA. For CA. you have to write a CPT examination before you get on to other levels. You can register with ICAI (www.icai.org) and appear for exams in May or Nov every year. All the best

    B.COM with CA is a good option. The combination tends to offer lucrative options.

    * Register/Enroll for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC)
    * Complete 9 months of Study Course.
    * Complete 100 hours of Information Technology Training (ITT).
    * Complete Orientation Course (35 hours spread over one week).
    * Pass Group I or both Groups of Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE).
    * Register as Articled Assistant for a period of 3 years.
    * Pass Group II of IPCC if not already passed.
    * Appear in Final Examination during last 6 months of 3 years of articled training.
    * Pass

    @kanika, Chartered Accountant (CA) is one of the finest course in Commerce stream. Basically CA is a 3 step course, CPT IPCC and Final, enroll yourself for the CPT course now only but remember do not give any attention to this as of now, just concentrate on ur +2, after clearing your +2 you can start preparing for CPT, for your information 2 months are more than sufficient for CPT if you concetrate at your +2 level and the 2 months, after CPT you will get 9 months for giving both the groups of IPCC, get horough coaching clear that, enroll yourself in some good practicing firm and do your articleship, articleship is practical training w
