pls tell me what is the scope for IT branch in coming years . I have to select a college this year. what is scope for mtech in IT.

i have to join a college for BTech. this year . i have also planned to do Mtech in future . pls tell me whether selecting IT branch now would be a good choice or not . what are placement oppurtunities if i do my Btech from a college like MS ramaiah
