Hi Rinku,
The main difference between PGDM and MBA is that PGDM is a postgraduate diploma program which is given Institutes which come under the jurisdiction of AICTE like XLRI, SP Jain etc. And MBA is a degree program provided only by Universities and come under the jurisdiction of UGC like JBIMS

Pgdm(post graduate diploma) is a diploma which is not affiliated 2 any university and if it is affiliated with a university it becomes masters degree.

PGDM is an autonomous post graduate program, offered by B Schools, whereas, MBA is a degree, offered by an University. If you take Masters in Management Studies (MMS) , it comes under Mumbai University. You also have lot of PGDM programs, which are equivalent, to an MBA program.

HI,here is really a difference between PGDBM and MBA.
1. MBA is a degree course, while
PGDBM is a diploma course.
2. MBA degree is provided by only those institutes that are affiliated to any university.
Eg . JBIMS and FMS, PUMBA. These B-schools are university depts of their respective university.t
