plz tell me that keeping the interest apart which degre is better B.tech (4 yrs)or Eco.(Hons.)(only 3yrs) from DU in terms of pay,placment

i hav passed 12 & iam confused wat to do nxt B.tech or Eco hons incasec of Btech it will take me 5 yrs b'coz 1 year coaching to crack entrance & 4 yrs of Btech on d contrary it takes only 3 years in Eco hons.plz tell wat will be better as a degree for high pay & placement provided i hav to do MBA.
