Dear student,
Course itself is named as post graduate DIPLOMA in information technology. Moreover so far my knowledge goes DEGREE can be awarded by University( UGC Recognized) only. Best wishes......

no, pg diploma is not degree

if this is two year the it is equivalent to degree
