Post Graduation Degree or Master's degree ?

I have completed my final year in BMM- advertising (Mass Media) and am planning further to do post graduation degree in media and entertainment and am applying at 'we school' , but am confused whether I should go for the master’s degree in mass communication or PG degree what is the difference ..

Masters Degree and PG Degree/PG Diploma (2 yrs) are equivalent. According to my knowledge if A degree awarded by university its Masters and if awarded by autonomous institution its PG Dgree/Diploma
