Type Rating is a mandatory training required for any Pilot to fly a commercial airline plane viz. B737, B787, B777, A320, Neo, Q400, ATR etc. Just Commercial Pilot Licence is not the key to get a Pilot's job in any airline. Type Rating has become the need of the hour.

Hi, I want to do my CPL, I CLEARED MY 10+2 WITH PCM, PLEASE SUGGEST THE BEST INSTITITUE IN INDIA, ONE MORE QUESTION, HOW ARE THE INSTITUTES IN TURKEY COMPARED TO INDIA, ANY ADVANTAGE or DISADVANTAGE IN DOIN THE COURSE IN INDIA.

If I go through CDS do I have to be necessarily an engineer or can I graduate from art stream provided that I have 12th Science stream with maths.
