Pre-Requisites for joining Software testing course

Hello Am Kumar and have completed B.com ( non-it person). I want to learn software testing and would like to know whether one needs to learn C,C++, VB and SQL before joining testing course. My friends told me that i need to know programing before joining testing course, Pls help me
