      2 K M n O 4 + 5 H 2 C + 3 2 O 4 + 3 H 2 S O 4 ( d i l ) → K 2 S O 4 + 2 M n S O 4 + 1 0 C O + 4 2 + 8 H 2 O

    Oxidation state of carbon changes from +3 to +4

    ∴ change in O. S is 1
