Preparation for IBPS Examination

You need to work on following points: ~ Time Management: Actually, you won't get much high profile queries in Banking Examination so, what is the need? The need is better time management. You will get more no. of queries in examination and have to solve them in particular time. Time with accuracy matters at thsi situation to crack Examination. ~ Start from lower one You should start your paper with General awareness and English section and no need to give much time to this section then prefer reasoning and aptitude section. ~ Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation. Solve all of these section's query every day. ~ Pratiyogita Darpan, take the complete knowledge from it, every month. ~ Join Mock test series, good option for preparing Exam. ~ Only Attempt queries which having minimum 85 percent accuracy, do not attempt doubtful questions. Books to be followed: R S Agarwal for Aptitude, Reasoning and English section. M Laxmikanth for General Awareness * You got 50% in graduation but not to worry, you can appear for IBPS PO Examination.

Hi, To prepare for the Bank Probationary Officers entrance exam, there are a number of books and correspondence courses available. The objective type portion will have papers in reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general awareness and English. The descriptive type paper will have comprehension, analysis of situation and language ability. For general awareness, read the daily newspaper and watch news. You could also use magazines such as CSR, Competition Master, Banking service Chronicle, etc. To share a few tips- *If you are determined for a job in bank, preparations for exams must be started well in advance. Most bank exams have common sections like Aptitude, Logical, so its better you start from them. *Practice using model or previous question papers; it could help in giving an outline of the exam structure. Try to work out the questions atleast thrice, which will boost your confidence level to answer. *Having decided to appear for exams of a specific bank, research about the bank, management, core business areas, branches, mission, achievements and recognition is necessary. *Be attentive about up-to-date happenings by reading newspapers. Stay alert on issues pertaining to banks and its business. Watching business news channels will provide a more inside view on various topics. It is good way to get secure career after graduation with 50%. But you should prepare very well for clearing the IBPS PO examination.
