    Correct Option - 1


    Detailed Solution:

    A + B + C = 18500…. (1)

    A = B + 25% of   B     =     5 B 4  …. (2)

    B = C + 20% of C     =     6 C 5  …. (3)

    Equation (1) gives,

    5 B 4     +     6 C 5     +     C     =     1 8 5 0 0

    ⇒     3 C 2     +     6 C 5     +     C     =   1 8 5 0 0

    37C = 185000 C = 5000

    B = 6000, A = 7500.

    A + B = 13500
