For a loaded die, the probabilities of outcomes are given as under:

$P\left(1\right)=P\left(2\right)=0.2,P\left(3\right)=P\left(5\right)=P\left(6\right)=0.1$ and $P\left(4\right)=0.3$ .

The die is thrown two times. Let A and B be the events, 'same number each time', and 'a total score is 10 or more', respectively. Determine whether or not A and B are independent.

 

It's difficult but in some colleges you may can get 

  $\overrightarrow{a}+5\overrightarrow{b}$  is collinear with $\overrightarrow{c}$  

⇒   $\overrightarrow{a}+5\overrightarrow{b}$ = $\overrightarrow{c}$           …(1)

$\overrightarrow{b}+6\overrightarrow{c}$ is collinear with $\overrightarrow{a}$  

⇒   $\overrightarrow{b}+6\overrightarrow{c}=\mu \overrightarrow{a}$               …(2)

From (1) and (2)

  $\overrightarrow{b}+6\overrightarrow{c}=\mu \left(\lambda \overrightarrow{c}-5\overrightarrow{b}\right)$          

-> $\left(1+5\mu \right)\overrightarrow{b}+\left(6-\lambda \mu \right)\overrightarrow{c}=0$
