Detailed Solution:

System of equation is

( 2 3 1 1 1 1 1 1 | λ | ) ( x y z ) = [ 2 4 4 λ 4 ]

R1 – 2 R2, R3 – R2

( 0 1 3 1 1 1 0 2 | λ | 1 ) ( x y z ) = ( 1 0 4 4 λ 8 )

System of equation will have no solution for = -7.
