First common term to both AP's is 9

t78 of ( 3 , 6 , 9 , . . . . . . ) = 7 8 * 3 = 2 3 4  

t59 of ( 5 , 9 , 1 3 , . . . . . . . . ) = 5 + ( 5 1 ) 4 = 2 3 7  

nth common term 2 3 4  

9 + (n – 1) 12  234

n < 2 3 7 1 2 n = 1 9  

Now sum of 19 terms with a = 9, d = 12

  = 1 9 2 ( 2 . 9 + ( 1 9 1 ) 1 2 ) = 2 2 2 3
