We  know  that   Distance 
between  the  foci=2ae∴                2ae=16    ⇒ae=8Given  that  e=2∴                2a=8    ⇒a=42Now             b2=a2(e2−1)⇒                  b2=32(2−1)     ⇒b2=32So,  the  equation  of  the  hyperbola  is            x2a2−y2b2=1    ⇒x232−y232=1    ⇒x2−y2=32Hence,  the  correct  option  is  (a).
