    Correct Option - 1


    Detailed Solution:

     x¯=6=a+b+8+5+105⇒a+b=7 …… (i)

    and

    σ2=a2+b2+82+52+1025−62=6.8

    a2 + b2 = 25 ……. (ii)

    From (i) and (ii) (a, b) = (3, 4) or (4, 3)

    Now mean deviation about mean

    M=15 (3+2+2+1+4)=125

    25M = 60
