Let the solutions added be 2, 4 and 1 litre, respectively. Then quantity of ethanol in the solution is

2 * 1 3 + 4 * 2 5 + 1 * 3 7

= 2 3 + 8 5 + 3 7 = 7 0 + 1 6 8 + 4 5 1 0 5 = 2 8 3 1 0 5

So, the quantity of methanol

= 7 2 8 3 1 0 5 = 7 3 5 2 8 3 1 0 5 = 4 5 2 1 0 5

So the ratio of ethanol to methanol in the resultant solution is 283: 452.
