    Detailed Solution:

      h 2 = 1 2 g t 1 2                                                                    

    h = 1 2 g ( t 1 + t 2 ) 2  

    from (i) and (ii) :-

    1 2 g t 1 2 = g 4 ( t 1 + t 2 ) 2               

    2 t 1 2 = ( t 1 + t 2 ) 2  

    2 t 1 = t 1 + t 2

    t 1 = t 2 2 − 1 = ( 2 + 1 ) t 2
