$c o s ?_{1} = \frac{R}{\sqrt[]{R^{2} + {(3 R)}^{2}}} = \frac{1}{\sqrt[]{10}}$

$c o s ?_{2} = \frac{R}{\sqrt[]{R^{2} + {(3 R - R)}^{2}}} = \frac{1}{\sqrt[]{2}}$

$\Rightarrow \frac{c o s ?_{2}}{c o s ?_{1}} = \frac{\sqrt[]{10}}{\sqrt[]{2}} = \sqrt[]{5} \Rightarrow x = 1$
