    Detailed Solution:

    g = 9 ( 1 + h R ) 2

    ⇒ g 3 = g ( 1 + h R ) 2

    ⇒ ( 1 + h R ) 2 = 3

    1 + h R = 3

    ⇒ h R = 3 − 1

    h R = 1 . 7 3 2 − 1

    h R = 0 . 7 3 2

    h = 0.732 × 6400

    = 4684.8 km » 4685 km
