Detailed Solution:

Tension in wire, $T = \frac{2 \times 3 \times 5 \times 10}{3 + 5} = \frac{75}{2} N$

$\frac{T}{π r_{m i n}^{2}} = \frac{24}{π} \times 1 0^{2}$

$\Rightarrow r_{m i n}^{2} = \frac{75}{2 \times 24} \times 1 0^{- 2} = \frac{25}{16} \times 1 0^{- 2}$
