The only thing lies in your learning of basic foundation concepts as the paper doest go beyond the text book. If you have fullfledged text book knowledge that is more than enough to get above 200 score and revision plays a key role in this aspect. Atleast 15 days of revision schedule is necessary for getting good score. So try learn things from the very first day then u will be definitely succeeded.

First of all you should start with your NCERT books because if you have completed it thoroughly means you have made your concepts clear. Solving questions from various books is beneficial and helpful too but reading from different books for making your concepts clear can lead you towards confusions. So you need to make your concepts strong from NCERT and then solve and practice as many questions as you can. because at last everything depends on your practice.

Since IIT is an exam which takes place in day time so it is advisable to everyone to shift his/her study routine from night to day at least two weeks before the final day. This will make you equally active in day as you are during night / morning and on the final day it will be easier for you to concentrate as it will be more like a daily routine. This is particularly beneficial to the students who are used to study during day time.
