    Well firstly this does not seem as a discussion, secondly gaining any specific answer to your question is quite difficult after all it will depend on the kind of project you are taking up and the elements in the same that shall hold its relevance so to be accepted by the KVPY.
    The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana is started by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to encourage students of Basic Sciences, Engineering and Medicine to take up research careers in these areas, hence the project that you opt for need a lot of thinking, strategy and uniqueness so to be accepted by KVPY.
