1. The Dev Bhoomi Group of Institutions is one of the best colleges in Uttarakhand with good infrastructure and well qualified teachers. It offers a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme that lasts four years and is full-time. Specialization options include computer Science and engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and civil engineering. It also offers an MBA programme that lasts two years and is full-time. Specialization options include finance, agribusiness, and business analytics. 

• The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) in Dehradun, India, is a well-known institution focusing on programs related to energy and allied sectors. Although I don't have access to real-time data, historically, UPES has had a good track record in terms of placements, particularly in industries related to oil and gas, energy, power, infrastructure, and allied sectors.
• For MBA placements at UPES Dehradun, the university has a dedicated placement cell that works closely with students to facilitate recruitment opportunities. They invite a variety of companies from different sectors for campus placements.

• Some of the prominent recruiters for MBA students at UPES include:

  1. Oil and Gas Companies: Companies like ONGC, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), Schlumberger, ExxonMobil, Shell, and others have shown interest in recruiting MBA graduates specializing in energy management or related fields.

• Now let us come to the conclusion that both the colleges are good and both are located in Uttarakhand.
• UPES is very expensive in terms of fee structure in comparison to Devbhoomi Group of Institutions.

• To apply for the B.Tech and B.Sc. degree course, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board with 60% marks in aggregate.
• At least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII.
• Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of their PCM marks and Medical fitness as per the DGS norms and they are called to MANET, Pune to confirm their admission in the month of Jun-July 2024 (tentatively).
• Applicants are interviewed situation by a panel of educators and maritime professionals to assess the applicant’s communication skills, leadership potential, clarity of thought, maturity and reasoning abilities. The panel also looks for any extracurricular achievements of the candidate.
