NCAS, like many universities in India, does not publicly disclose specific cutoff scores for admission to their programs. This practice is followed for several reasons:

  • Dynamic Cutoffs: Cutoffs are determined after the application process is complete and depend on various factors like the number of applicants, their scores, and the availability of seats. This makes them dynamic and subject to change every year. Publicly announcing cutoffs could lead to misinterpretations, as they might not be applicable for the upcoming admission cycle.

  • Selection Process: Selection is often based on a combination of factors, including entrance exam score

The Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences (NCAS) offers a B.Sc. in Aeronautical Science program. While the exact number of students admitted annually is not explicitly stated on the college website, we can gather some insights from the available information:  There are two categories, B1.1 and B2, for the B.Sc. program, each with an approved strength of 30 students. This suggests two potential batches. so the B.Sc. programme at NCAS likely accepts around 60 to 90 students annually, considering two potential batches with 30 students each. It is better to enquire in their college too.

Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences in Coimbatore seems to offer a mixed experience for B.Sc. programs. While the college receives positive ratings for its infrastructure, academics, campus life, and faculty, the ratings for placements and value for money are relatively lower.

Considering the overall rating of 7.8 out of 10, it indicates that the college provides a satisfactory academic environment and campus experience. However, prospective students should weigh the lower ratings for placements and value for money against other factors before making a decision.
